Description

Intercooler for the 2.2L Td4 turbo-diesel charge-air cooling circuit.

Mounted in the airflow at the front of the vehicle, the intercooler cools the pressurised air leaving the turbocharger before it reaches the intake manifold. Reducing the charge-air temperature raises its density, which improves combustion efficiency and helps sustain boost pressure under load.
