Description

Gearbox Oil Screen Filter mounts inside the oil pan of the ZF 6HP26 six-speed automatic transmission, forming the suction-side filter of the hydraulic circuit.

It screens the automatic transmission fluid drawn from the sump before it reaches the oil pump and valve body, trapping clutch debris and wear particles. It is renewed as part of an ATF and oil pan service.
