Starter Motor for the engine starting circuit. When the ignition is operated, it draws battery current to drive its pinion into the flywheel ring gear and cranks the engine over to initiate combustion.

Specified for the 2.2L Td4 diesel engine with the M66 six-speed manual transmission.
