Description

Track Rod End for the steering linkage, right-hand (off-side), threaded onto the outer end of the track rod at the steering rack.

The track rod end is the outer ball joint that transmits steering input from the rack to the steering knuckle, allowing the hub to turn for steering and to move with suspension travel while maintaining the connection. Its threaded shank sets the toe adjustment when the wheel alignment is reset.

Replacement is indicated where the ball joint has developed play, the boot has split, or steering feels loose or knocks. Wheel alignment should be checked after fitting.
