Description

Gearbox Filter – screen filter for the 5-speed automatic transmission, forming part of the gearbox hydraulic circuit.

The screen sits on the oil pump suction side, upstream of the valve body, and removes wear particles and debris from the transmission fluid to protect the valve body and the internal hydraulic components. It is fitted inside the gearbox and renewed together with the transmission fluid when the gearbox is serviced.

Application: M62 B44 4.4 litre V8 petrol with 5-speed automatic transmission.
