Description

Air Cleaner Hose – Cyclone is a crankcase-ventilation breather hose in the 300 Tdi air intake and engine breather system.

It connects the cyclone oil-vapour separator to the air cleaner assembly, routing crankcase blow-by gases through the separator and back into the intake to be re-burned, while limiting oil carry-over into the air filter.

It is commonly renewed alongside the oil-separator drain hose (LLH500190). Rubber breather hoses harden, crack and swell with age and heat, so inspect and replace as required to maintain correct crankcase ventilation.
