Timing Belt Tensioner for 1.8L K-Series petrol engines built without automatic belt tensioning.

Mounts in the timing belt run and applies the working tension to the belt through a manually set eccentric adjustment, set to the specified tension at installation rather than self-adjusting. The tensioner bearing wears in step with the belt, so it is replaced as part of the timing belt job.

This tensioner suits the manually tensioned arrangement only; engines built with automatic tensioning use a different assembly.
