Description

R-Clip – spring steel retaining clip for the centre pin of the military (NATO) pattern front bumper, part of the front bumper and towing pin fixings group.

The clip passes through the drilled end of the bumper centre pin and locks it in position, preventing the pin from working loose under towing load or vibration. The pin it retains is RRC6681. The clip is fitted and removed by hand without tools, and is commonly replaced once the spring legs have lost tension through repeated removal and refitting.
