Description

Engine Mounting Rubber is a bonded rubber-to-metal isolator in the powertrain mounting assembly. It sits between the mounting bracket and the chassis, carrying the powertrain load while damping engine and driveline vibration transmitted into the chassis.

The same component serves at more than one point on the V8 installation: as an engine mounting, as a transmission mounting on the Borg Warner gearbox, and as a harmonic damper mounting at the front axle. It is fitted with an M12 mounting stud.

Intended for the 4.0L V8 EFI petrol engine.
