Description

Heater Resistor Pack for the heating and ventilation (HVAC) blower circuit. It provides the stepped resistance that sets the lower blower motor fan speeds; on the highest setting the pack is bypassed and the motor receives full supply voltage.

The resistor pack is mounted in the heater housing within the blower airflow, which cools the resistive elements during operation. A failed pack typically results in the loss of one or more of the lower fan speeds while the top speed continues to work.
