Description

Heater Control Cable – the Bowden cable that sets the heater mode within the HVAC control system.

It links the dashboard heater control lever to the air-distribution flap on the heater box, translating movement at the lever into the position of the flap so the selected airflow mode is held. A stretched, kinked or seized cable stops the mode control moving fully through its range.
