Description

Intermediate Shaft for the LT230 transfer box.

The intermediate shaft carries the intermediate cluster gear that meshes between the input gear and the front and rear output gears, transferring drive through the transfer case and providing the reduction ratio in low range. It is renewed with its bearings and thrust washers when shaft wear or excessive end-float is found.
