Description

Seat Belt – 3-Point Inertia Reel is a lap-and-diagonal front seat belt assembly with a self-locking inertia reel, supplied to the basic Type A specification.

The inertia reel lets the webbing extend and retract freely under normal movement and locks automatically under sudden deceleration or rapid extraction of the belt.

The reel unit must be mounted in the vertical plane: its fore-and-aft locking element depends on this orientation to operate. On a retro-fit installation, additional single-bolt mounting brackets may be required.
