Description

Fuel Tank Outrigger – front left-hand chassis outrigger supporting the fuel tank on the short-wheelbase 88″ chassis.

Welded to the chassis frame, the outrigger forms the bracket that carries the fuel tank and ties the tank area of the underbody into the main chassis rails. It is a common corrosion point on these vehicles and is normally replaced during chassis repair or full restoration.
