Description

Head Bolt Set for the 300 TDi 2.5L turbo diesel engine – the bolts that clamp the cylinder head to the engine block.

These are torque-to-yield (stretch) bolts: they are tightened through a set angle past their yield point, so they cannot be reused reliably and must be renewed whenever the cylinder head is removed. Fit a fresh set together with the head gasket at any head gasket replacement or engine rebuild.
