Description

Clutch Slave Cylinder, part of the hydraulic clutch release circuit.

The slave cylinder receives fluid pressure from the clutch master cylinder and converts it into the mechanical movement that operates the clutch release fork, disengaging the clutch when the pedal is pressed. A leaking or failed cylinder gives a soft pedal and difficulty selecting gears.

Fitted to 3.5L V8 petrol applications with manual transmission.
