Description

Rear Propshaft for the short-wheelbase chassis, forming part of the driveline between the transfer gearbox and the rear axle.

The propshaft transmits drive from the transfer box output flange to the rear axle differential pinion. A universal joint at each end accommodates axle articulation and suspension movement, while the sliding splined slip joint absorbs the change in effective length as the axle travels through its range. Each end is flange-mounted for bolting directly to the transfer box and axle drive flanges.
