Description

Glow Plug for the 200TDi and 300TDi 2.5-litre direct-injection turbo diesel engines. It forms part of the cold-start pre-heating system.

The glow plug threads into the cylinder head with its heating element projecting into the combustion chamber. Energised before and during cranking, it warms the chamber air to promote reliable ignition and stabilise combustion when starting from cold.
