Description

Cylinder Head Bolt for the 200TDi 2.5-litre direct-injection turbo diesel engine. It secures the cylinder head to the engine block, clamping the head gasket joint to seal the combustion chambers, coolant passages and oil galleries.

This bolt is specific to the 200TDi engine. It is a stretch (torque-to-yield) fastener, tightened in a staged torque-then-angle sequence, intended for single use and renewed as a complete set whenever the cylinder head is removed.
