Description

Camshaft for the five-bearing four-cylinder engine, running in the cylinder block as the core of the overhead-valve valvetrain.

Driven from the crankshaft through the timing gears, it actuates the inlet and exhaust valves through the cam followers and pushrods and drives the engine oil pump. Common to the 2.25 and 2.5 litre four-cylinder diesel and petrol variants.
