Description

Piston Cooling Jet – Cylinders 1 & 3 is part of the engine lubrication system on the 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel engines, including the 200TDi and 300TDi.

Fed from the main oil gallery, it directs a spray of oil onto the underside of the piston crown to draw heat away from the piston and lubricate the gudgeon pin and bore. This jet serves cylinders 1 and 3. Supplied individually.
