Description

Front Crankshaft Oil Seal for the 2.25L and 2.5L four-cylinder petrol engines, fitted in the front timing cover where the crankshaft nose passes through it.

It runs on the crankshaft pulley hub and seals the front of the crankcase, preventing engine oil from escaping past the crankshaft as it exits the timing cover. It is commonly renewed during timing cover, front pulley or timing chain work.
