Description

Connecting Rod Nut – the big-end nut that secures the connecting rod cap to the rod bolts.

The nut clamps the connecting rod bearing cap onto the crankshaft journal, holding the big-end shell bearings in place under load. It has a 3/8″ UNF thread and a black finish. These nuts are normally renewed whenever the big-end caps are disturbed.
