Description

Exhaust Pipe from the rear of the exhaust system on the 2.5-litre 300Tdi engine.

This is the rear tailpipe section, carrying exhaust gas from the silencer to the discharge point at the back of the vehicle and providing the final run and outlet for the system. It is shaped to route the gas clear of the body and to position the tailpipe at the correct exit.

Exhaust pipework is renewed when corroded, split or blowing at its joints, as leaks raise noise and allow fumes to escape before the system outlet.
