Intercooler Turbo Hose from the charge-air system of the 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine.

It carries pressurised air through the intercooler circuit between the turbocharger and the intake, withstanding the boost pressure, heat and oil mist present in the charge-air path. A sound hose maintains boost pressure and prevents loss of charge air, protecting throttle response and combustion.

This hose is supplied without retaining clips. It is renewed when split, ballooned, softened by oil contamination or leaking at its connections, as any breach reduces boost and engine performance.
