Tensioner Pulley for the air conditioning drive belt on the 2.5L 300TDi turbo diesel engine.

It runs against the accessory drive belt and maintains correct belt tension across the pulleys, keeping the air conditioning compressor driven reliably. A worn pulley bearing produces noise and belt slip, so it is normally renewed with the drive belt.
