Description

Fuel Injector for the 4.0L and 4.6L V8 EFI petrol engines, part of the multi-point fuel injection system.

The injector is fed pressurised fuel from the rail and is opened electrically by the engine control unit, spraying a metered charge of fuel into the intake port of its cylinder. One injector is fitted per cylinder; a worn or leaking injector can cause rough running, misfires or poor fuel economy.
