Description

Carburettor Manifold Gasket – the gasket that seals the inlet and exhaust manifold assembly to the cylinder head face on carburettor-fed engines.

It maintains a gas-tight joint at the manifold flange, preventing induction air leaks that would lean out the mixture and exhaust leaks at the shared manifold. A sound seal here is essential to stable idle and correct fuelling on a carburettor engine.
