Description

Thermostat for the 2.5L 200TDi diesel engine, operating within the thermostat housing at the top of the cooling circuit.

This thermostat opens at 88C, allowing coolant to flow from the engine to the radiator once the set temperature is reached. Below this threshold, the thermostat remains closed and directs coolant through the engine bypass circuit to accelerate warm-up and maintain stable operating temperature.
