Description

Valve Stem Seal for the Rover V8 engine, part of the cylinder head valve train.

The seal fits over the top of the valve stem where it passes through the valve guide. It meters the small amount of oil that lubricates the stem and prevents excess oil being drawn down the guide into the combustion chamber, controlling oil consumption and inlet/exhaust smoke. One seal is fitted per valve.
