Description

Banjo Bolt for the fuel and oil circuits, used to secure a banjo union to its housing while allowing fluid to pass through the cross-drilled body.

It is used at hollow-bolt junctions such as the turbocharger oil feed and return pipework and the fuel filter and injection pump connections, clamping the banjo eye against its sealing washers to form a sealed joint between rigid pipes, flexible lines and component housings. Used on the 200 TDi and 300 TDi 2.5L diesel engines.

Sealing washers are required either side of the banjo eye and should be renewed on reassembly.
