Description

Drain Plug – Coolant – Cylinder Block is the threaded plug that seals the coolant drain port in the cylinder block, providing a controlled drain point for the engine cooling system during service or repairs.

Draining coolant from the block rather than only from the radiator ensures a complete system flush and prevents stale coolant from remaining in the lower passages. The plug should be inspected for thread condition and sealing integrity whenever the cooling system is drained.

Fits Land Rover 4-cylinder engines up to and including the 300Tdi, including the 2.25L petrol, 2.25L diesel, 2.5L petrol, 2.5L naturally aspirated diesel, 2.5L turbo diesel, 200Tdi, and 300Tdi.
