Description

Core Plug (Cup Type) for sealing the core holes left in the engine block casting after the sand cores are removed during manufacture.

The cup-shaped plug is pressed into the machined bore and seals against the coolant jacket, completing the cooling circuit. It also acts as a relief point if coolant freezes, helping protect the block from cracking.

Nominal 53mm diameter (measured 52.75mm).
