Description

Door Lock Housing for the door latch assembly, finished in black. The housing carries the latch mechanism that engages the striker on the body aperture to hold the door closed, and provides the mounting and pivot points for the release and locking linkage driven by the exterior and interior handles.

It serves as the front door latch housing across all wheelbases and, on long-wheelbase configurations, as the rear side door latch housing.
