Internal Combustion Engine Model Kit – a build-it-yourself working scale model of a four-stroke petrol engine, made to demonstrate how an internal combustion engine operates.

A battery-driven electric motor turns the engine so the pistons, crankshaft and valve gear move behind a transparent cover, while a sound chip reproduces the noise of an engine starting up. Parts screw and clip together rather than glue, so the model can be dismantled and rebuilt.

Supplied as a self-contained kit with all the parts and tools required, plus an illustrated step-by-step assembly manual that includes an educational section on four-stroke engine principles. Requires AA batteries (not included).
