Winch Solenoid – 12V is a 12-volt solenoid for the electrical control circuit of an electric recovery winch.

The solenoid acts as a high-current contactor between the battery and the winch motor. When energised by the remote or dashboard control switch it closes the heavy contacts that carry the motor current, switching the motor on and reversing its direction for spooling the cable in and out, so that full motor current need not pass through the control switch itself. Supplied as a replacement solenoid for T-Max electric winches.
