Description

Air Conditioning Condenser – part of the air conditioning refrigerant circuit, mounted at the front of the vehicle in the airflow path ahead of the radiator.

It receives hot, high-pressure refrigerant vapour from the compressor and dissipates the heat across a fin-and-tube matrix, condensing the refrigerant into a high-pressure liquid before it passes on to the receiver-drier and expansion valve. Its condition directly affects system pressures and cabin cooling performance.
