Description

Alternator is the charging-system generator that supplies current to the battery and vehicle electrical system.

Driven from the crankshaft by the auxiliary drive belt, this is the 100A A127-type unit for the V8 EFI petrol engine, fitted with the wide polyvee (serpentine) belt pulley. The integral regulator maintains system voltage across the engine’s operating range.
