Description

Steering Box Shaft Bush supports the selector (sector) shaft within the power steering box, part of the steering assembly.

The bush forms the bearing surface in the steering box housing through which the sector shaft passes. That shaft carries the drop arm which transmits steering movement to the linkage; the bush locates the shaft and maintains its alignment against operating loads.
