Description

Oil Pump Inner Gear – the inner (drive) gear of the gearbox oil pump, within the lubrication circuit of the main gearbox.

Driven from the gearbox, the inner gear meshes with the outer rotor to draw and pressurise oil, circulating it through the gearbox to lubricate the gears and bearings.

Fitted to solid-case gearboxes equipped with an oil pump; split-case boxes do not use a pump.
