Push Rod for the 2.6L 6-cylinder petrol engine fitted to Series II, IIA, and III Land Rovers.

This push rod operates within the valvetrain of the 2.6L Inlet Over Exhaust (IOE) straight-six engine. It transfers reciprocating motion from the camshaft-driven tappet to the rocker arm, actuating the inlet or exhaust valve. The rod runs through the push rod tunnel in the engine block and must be straight and free of wear at both cup ends to maintain correct valve timing and clearances.
