Description

Gearbox Bearing is the ball bearing that supports the primary pinion, or first motion shaft, in the main gearbox.

Located at the front of the gearbox where the input shaft enters the casing from the clutch, it locates the primary pinion against radial and thrust loads. It is renewed as a matter of course during a gearbox rebuild.
