Description

Spire Nut is a spring-steel push-on clip fastener that provides a threaded anchor in thin sheet metal.

The nut pushes over a hole in a panel and receives a self-tapping screw, its arched spring form gripping the thread to resist vibration and pull-out. It is used to secure the seat box lid and body panels where a fixed nut cannot be reached behind the panel.
