Description

Piston, 0.040in Oversize for the cylinder block assembly of the 2.6L 6-cylinder petrol engine.

The piston runs in the cylinder bore and transmits combustion pressure through the gudgeon pin and connecting rod to the crankshaft. It is supplied at 0.040in oversize for a block that has been rebored 0.040in beyond standard during an engine rebuild, and is normally fitted with matching oversize rings.
