Description

Threaded Core Plug seals a threaded aperture in the engine block casting, used on the 4-cylinder petrol engine as a blanking plug for a redundant heater or access port.

The plug is screwed directly into the threaded boss in the block and should be sealed with a suitable thread sealant on installation. Replacement is required if the plug shows signs of corrosion, weeping, or thread damage. Alternate part number: 527269.
