Rocker Cover Stud for the cylinder head on early Land Rover 4-cylinder engines.

The rocker cover stud is a threaded fastener installed into the cylinder head that provides the fixing point for the rocker cover (valve cover). A nut and washer on the stud clamp the cover against its sealing gasket, maintaining an oil-tight seal over the rocker shaft and valve gear. Sold as a single stud.
