Description

Power Steering Belt is the V-belt that drives the power steering pump from the crankshaft pulley, in the non-air-conditioned engine configuration.

It transfers drive to the PAS pump so the pump can supply hydraulic pressure to the steering, and its length and routing suit vehicles built without an air-conditioning compressor in the belt run. The belt glazes, cracks and stretches with age and is renewed at service intervals to maintain correct pump drive and belt tension.
