Radio Receiver Kit is the radio-frequency receiver for the remote central locking and alarm system, operating on the 315 MHz band.

Mounted within the body electrical and security circuit, the receiver detects the coded RF signal transmitted by the handset and passes the decoded command to the body control module, which actions central locking, unlocking and alarm arming and disarming. The 315 MHz frequency corresponds to the North American market specification, identified by a white dot; European-market vehicles use the 433 MHz equivalent receiver.
