Fuel Filter Cover Assembly – front cover for the chassis-mounted fuel filter and sedimentor on diesel engines, including the 200 TDi, 300 TDi and Td5.

The filter assembly is mounted on the chassis rail inside the wheel arch, where it takes the full force of water, mud and stone thrown up by the wheel. This cover closes off the front face of that position, shielding the filter bowl, the sedimentor drain and the fuel unions behind it.

Supplied as a complete cover assembly. Where the original has corroded through or been lost, the filter body and its connections are left directly exposed – a frequent cause of seized drain taps and weeping unions.
