Description

Transmission Guard – an under-body skid plate that shields the lower transmission, where the gearbox, transfer box and handbrake assembly sit slightly below the chassis rails and are exposed to impacts.

The guard bolts to the existing pre-drilled mounting points beneath the chassis and presents a flat face that slides over rocks and obstacles rather than snagging on them, protecting the transmission and handbrake during off-road use. All necessary fixings are supplied. It is designed to be fitted alongside the companion steering guard, TF828.

Pressed from 8mm aluminium, giving a lighter weight than the equivalent steel guard.
